Ford may save heroic designs for other models and instead focus on more critical areas that the F-150's. A wider use of vcxzq aluminum in the frame and bed, for example, will help reduce truck weight and improve fuel economy, if not basic models starting price. Active grille and wheels windows closed at high speeds to improve aerodynamics is Atlas features that could make it to production models, such as helping a good trailer hitch using the guide targets the rearview camera screen to help line up the ball and hitch.
The current F-150 5.0-liter V8 should be carried away, along with the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. The latter makes 365 horsepower vcxzq and 420 pound-feet of torque, more than the V8 on both counts.
